simple Carbonara

Ingredients:  (1)
2 bowls of pasta
1 bowl of corn
125ml of fresh cream (half the carton shown in the picture)
1 cup of mushrooms
1 cup of shredded cheese
3 slices of ham cut into squares (and/or bacon)
half a kettle of hot water

Directions: 
before starting add some hot water to the bowl of corn and let it sit for about 5 minutes
2. add the hot water to the pasta and a pinch of salt, cover for 8 minutes (medium heat)
3. to a frying pan add a drop of olive oil and half a spoon of butter/margarine (medium-high heat)
    add the ham/bacon in and fry for 3 minutes and then add the mushrooms in
4. drain the pasta and rinse with cold water, add the pasta in the frying pan with the ham and mushrooms.
    Add the cheese into the pasta and stir until it is evenly spread
5. add the fresh cream and the corn (with the water drained out) into the pan
    stir the ingredients together and allow the food to sit for 2/3 minutes so the pasta can absorb the cream
6. divide the pasta into two plates and add a touch of pepper for extra taste :)
